Daily Progress Reports

I've decided that in order to keep track of where our money is going and to hopefully keep us from unnecessary expenses, I am going to do daily progress reports. I got the idea from Jennifer over at Finding Financial Peace! She reports any income she's made that day and any money spent.

Today while Rosemary was taking a nap I cut out and started to sew 6 hanging wetbags (for pads) and while she played I finished sewing them. When I put her to bed I listed them at my store at Etsy. Yesterday I designed my first one and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I made it more elaborate and I'm really happy with the outcome!

I did go triple coupon shopping again, so our expenses for today were $18.04. Over the weekend we only spent $1.50 "out of pocket". We did get things on Saturday, but we used gift cards and extra care bucks, then on Sunday I did my weekly CVS shopping trip and paid $0 for lots of stuff (using coupons and my extra care bucks). The $1.50 was spent yesterday getting another newspaper for coupons, which is money well spent considering the savings!

You might want to change your link color, because pink is really hard to see with your background color. Or perhaps I'm blind? o.0

AS well, You guys make me envious of CVS. I used to LOVE CVS when I loved in Maryland, and now I wish I lived near one even more because of all these good deals they have! Congrats!
